Sharina has extensive experience as a paediatric Occupational Therapist in the UK and abroad . Her main aim is to work in partnership with parents, teachers and other professionals to support children on achieving their maximum independence and improving their quality of life.
Her experience encompasses Sensory Integration, NDT / Bobath Therapy, Self-Regulation - The Alert Programme, Attachment and Trauma difficulties, Willbarger Protocol for Sensory Defensiveness, Feeding difficulties and Specialist equipment.
Sharina supports the children she works with in all areas of occupational performance (school, home and in the community). She has extensive experience working with children who may only need a boost of confidence to improve basic skills, such as handwriting. And, children with Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, various chromosome disorders and development delays.
Javier has many years of experience working in the paediatric field helping children achieving their maximum potential using a wide variety of treatment interventions and approaches.
Javier is experienced at delivering Sensory Integration, The Wilbarger Protocol for Sensory defensiveness, Behavioural approaches, Self-regulation, Mindfulness, Anxiety management.
In addition to his expertise, his calm, friendly and assertive nature enhances the children’s ability to engage with therapeutic interventions. He has always been drawn to a career with children and loves working together with families to achieve the best possible outcome.
Javier focuses on a strong sensory integration approach while supporting his clients in all areas of occupational performance. He has extensive experience working with Autism, ADHD, SPD, various chromosome disorders and development delays. As well as working with children, Javier provides consultations and offers training to teachers, parents and other professionals.
